June 18 - Amelia Earhart Flies the Atlantic

On June 18th, 1928 the now famous aviator Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly as a passenger in an aircraft across the Atlantic Ocean. Wilmer Stutz was the pilot and Lou Gordon was the mechanic.
